Sleeping Rough is a powerful community experience that offers a small glimpse into the challenges faced by those living with significant hardship — including domestic violence, homelessness, and financial insecurity.
Sleeping Rough invites our supporters to experience what it truly means to “Sleep Rough” and do it tough for a few hours, by spending the night in a local car park in Riverwood, Southwest Sydney.
Anyone can join us to “Sleep Rough” by seeking sponsorship and conducting their own crowdfunding campaign, to raise money that will go towards the services Georges River Life Care provide to support vulnerable families including:
*Legal Support
*Community Relief - food hampers and emergency financial assistance
* Artslife - creative arts program for disadvantaged children
*Community Connect - community lunches and kids programs

As a small token of our gratitude this year, every registered rough sleeper who reaches their minimum fundraising target, will receive a free beanie and reuseable coffee cup to help then ward off the winter chills!!
